Registration

1.1 Please be online and ready at least 10 minutes before practice begins. This is in case anything changes as last minute.

1.2: If you would like to reserve a car number you may do so provided that the number is not already in use. You will need a Truck number.

1.3: All races are set on Fixed setups, with 100% fuel.

1.4: Race starts are "Rolling Starts".

 

 

Driver Chat

2.1: All drivers will refrain from making any negative, derogatory, or incendiary statements during a race session. If you have an issue with a fellow driver during the race, bring the problem to an admins’ attention after the race for discussion. Any violation of this rule can result in immediate termination of in text/voice chat privileges. disqualification from the session, suspension from additional sessions, or removal from the league without refund. This rule will not be bent on for any member or admin of IRA.

2.2: Please give league admins speaker priority during the last 5 minutes of the practice session before qualifying begins to relay any information that may be pertinent to the upcoming race.

2.3: Teamspeak is available for use but not required to use during league races.

2.4: Foul language will not be tolerated on teamspeak or on iRacing chat. Please be respectful to others during race and practice sessions. Failure to abide by this rule can result in your chat privileges being removed for the remainder of the race/session or any additional penalty as deemed appropriate by league officials.

2.5: During race time, please keep the chat to race chat only, to give other drivers concentration.

 

 

Race Conditions

3.1: Enter the track on the back stretch at all times unless given specific pre-race instructions indicating otherwise.

3.2: The Lucky Dog rule is in effect. All wavebys will be given with TWO TO GO. We will be following Nascars’ official guidelines in regards to this rule which are:

3.3The driver that causes the caution is not eligible to receive the "Lucky Dog" pass during that yellow.

3.4The eligible driver for the lucky dog may not pass that privilege on to another driver in the race.

3.5Do NOT PIT before you receive the lucky dog. We can not issue the "Lucky Dog" to you if you are on pit road. You may pit once the lucky dog has been issued to you and you have been

waved around the pace car. If you receive a black flag due to a lucky dog pitting in penalty you may request its removal.

3.3: At no point for any reason will officials clear black flags or give laps back to you, due to software glitches,connection issues or any other reason including avoiding a wreck and speeding down pit road in avoidance. iRacing software will be the only governor of such. Please do not ask for a black flag to be cleared for any reason regardless of the circumstances. The only exception to this rule is under caution while pitting as the "Lucky Dog".

3.4: No fast repairs will be given during any official sessions.

 

 

On-Track

4.1: The race leader will be solely responsible for starting when the green lights show.

The leader/or any other driver may not engage in the practice of brake checking.

The leader will have lane choice (inside or outside) when a restart happens.

While pacing all drivers are expected to maintain a steady speed, and course. Weaving, rapid acceleration/braking, or any other erratic behavior is prohibited.

When pacing drivers are to maintain a reasonable distance to the vehicle in front of them (approx. 0.1 to 0.3 seconds). Any driver hanging back to an excessive degree can be subject to penalties at the discretion of race/league officials.

4.2: Please do your best to catch the field or pace car as soon as the yellow flag is displayed and maintain a 0.1 to 0.3 distance preferably Single File on the low line. This will give those who desire to repair damage, get tires or otherwise adequate time to do so.

4.3: Any incident of intentional wrecking will be reviewed by IRA officials, and appropriate penalties will be issued. Possible penalties for intentional wrecking can any or all of the following: forfeiture of championship points, suspension from the series, or removal from the series without refund.

 

 

Protests

5.1: Any driver that feels they need to protest another driver is encouraged to do so. If you have a problem with another driver please voice your opinion immediately after the race to an IRA Official.

5.2: Penalties will be issued to any driver that is found in violation of the rules, at the discretion of IRA officials. Please note that any warnings, or penalties that are issued are not personal, but rather intended to improve the general quality of racing.

5.3: No incidents ("x’s") will be reviewed for points penalties at any time for any reason.
